The Urban Civil Rights Museum in Harlem is a place where you can see and feel the work of the many people who fought for justice in urban centers in the North, to reflect on past civil rights efforts, to imagine new possibilities of collective work, and to inspire future action. When the Museum opens in 2026, it will be the first civil rights museum in New York State and the first in the nation to explore the fight for civil rights from a northern perspective.
By becoming a member today, you will help establish the Urban Civil Rights Museum in Harlem and play a key role in our work to interpret, document, and share the stories of the long and ongoing fight for justice. Please consider joining us.
